Lux IPTV Copyright and DMCA Policy

Last updated: October 28, 2026

How Lux IPTV handles copyright infringement notices: what a notice must contain, how we review it and how to dispute a removal.

Our policy

Lux IPTV respects intellectual property. We follow a notice-and-takedown procedure modeled on the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Every complete notice is reviewed.

If you believe content available through Lux IPTV infringes your copyright, report it to us so we can review it and take the appropriate action.

What a notice must contain

A valid notice includes the following information.

1. Your contact details

  • your full name, or the name of the organization you represent;
  • a way to contact you.

2. The protected work

  • the copyrighted work you believe is infringed;
  • a description precise enough to understand your notice.

3. Where the content is

  • the exact place where the content appears in the service;
  • as much detail as possible: channel name, title, date and time of broadcast.

4. Your statements

  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the content is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
  • a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner;
  • your physical or electronic signature.

How we handle a notice

  1. You send your notice with all the information above.
  2. We check that it is complete and valid.
  3. We act: valid notices are reviewed and may lead to the removal of, or blocking of access to, the reported content, in line with the applicable rules.

Inaccurate notices

Anyone who knowingly misrepresents that content is infringing may be liable. If in doubt, consult a lawyer before sending a notice.

Counter-notice

If you believe content was removed by mistake, you can send a counter-notice the same way. It includes:

  • your name and a way to contact you;
  • the content that was removed or blocked;
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the removal was a mistake;
  • your physical or electronic signature.
