Lux IPTV: IPTV subscription pricing and content
What is Lux IPTV?
Lux IPTV, also written LuxIPTV, is an IPTV subscription service that launched in 2023. It gives you 20,000+ live channels and 150,000+ movies and series on demand, in SD, HD, Full HD and 4K, with a TV Guide (EPG). You watch everything in an IPTV app on a smart TV, a Fire TV Stick, a phone or a computer: no cable box, no satellite dish.
About Lux IPTVWhat is IPTV and how does it work?
IPTV is television delivered over your internet connection instead of cable, satellite or an antenna. The ITU, the United Nations agency for telecommunications, puts it this way: "IPTV is defined as multimedia services such as television/video/audio/text/graphics/data delivered over IP-based networks." An IPTV app shows the channel list and the on-demand library, but it doesn't supply any content itself: you enter your Lux IPTV login details (your username, your password and the server URL) and the list loads.

IPTV setup guideHow much is a Lux IPTV subscription?
There are five plan lengths, each paid once: 1 month ($8.99), 3 months ($19.99), 6 months ($34.99), 12 months ($59.99) or 24 months ($99.99). Per month, that comes to $6.66 on 3 months, $5.83 on 6 months, $5.00 on 12 months and $4.17 on 24 months, compared with $8.99 when you pay month to month. The money-back guaranteeLux IPTV: IPTV setup, devices and apps
Which devices does Lux IPTV work on?
Lux IPTV works on Smart TVs (Samsung, LG, Sony and more), Android TV and Android boxes, Amazon Fire TV Stick, Google Chromecast, iPhone and Apple TV, Android phones and tablets, Windows PCs and Macs, plus MAG boxes and STB Emulator. All you need is an IPTV app that supports Xtream Codes (you sign in with your username, your password and the server URL); a MAG box uses a portal URL instead.
Setup by deviceWhich IPTV app should I use on each device?
Our setup guide covers these apps: Windows 10 and 11 PC: Hot Player; Mac: IPTVX; iPhone: Smarters Player Lite; Android phone: IPTV Blink Player or the Lux IPTV player; Amazon Fire TV Stick: the Lux IPTV app; Android TV and Android box: the Lux IPTV app; MAG box: the box's portal settings. The guide also recommends IPTVX, TiviMate and Hot Player as players. No app supplies content on its own: you need your Lux IPTV login details.
Apps by deviceHow does IPTV setup work?
Install your IPTV app, choose the Xtream Codes login (called "XC API" in some apps) and enter your username, your password and the server URL exactly as you received them, with no space before or after. The channel list and the library then load.
IPTV setup guideHow do I install Lux IPTV on a Fire TV Stick?
On a Fire TV Stick, you install the Lux IPTV app with the Downloader app. The Downloader code changes from time to time, so the team gives you the current one on WhatsApp. Then you sign in with your login details.
Fire TV Stick setupHow do I get IPTV on a smart TV?
Smart TVs (Samsung, LG, Sony and more) are on the list of supported devices: you install an IPTV app on the TV and enter your login details. Tell the team your TV's brand and model on WhatsApp and they'll tell you which app to use. Another option is to plug a Fire TV Stick or an Android box into the TV.
IPTV setup guideHow do I set up a MAG box?
A MAG box doesn't need an app: go to Settings → System Settings → Servers → Portals, with the portal URL from the team. The box then loads the channel list.
MAG box setupCan I watch Lux IPTV in a web browser?
Yes, with the Lux IPTV web player, which is in beta: open it in Firefox and sign in with your username and password. The team gives you its address on WhatsApp. Because it's a beta, some channels or movies may not load correctly; for the best experience, a dedicated IPTV app is still recommended.
IPTV setup guideLux IPTV: 4K IPTV, internet speed and connection
How many Mbps do I need for IPTV?
For HD and 4K, Lux IPTV recommends a connection of at least 30 Mbps. As a point of reference, Netflix lists "15 Mbps or higher" for ultra high definition (UHD) 4K. Test the speed on the device that plays IPTV, not just at your router; on a TV, an Ethernet cable is more stable than Wi-Fi.

Test my connectionWhat picture quality does Lux IPTV stream in?
SD, HD, Full HD and 4K. All of them are included in the five plan lengths, with no extra charge for 4K. To enjoy HD and 4K, plan on at least 30 Mbps.
What every plan includesThe picture freezes or cuts out: what can I do?
Test the internet speed on the device itself and compare it with the recommended 30 Mbps. Switch to an Ethernet cable if you can, restart the device and your router, then try a lower quality than 4K in the app. Also make sure no other device is using your account at the same time. If a channel still cuts out, tell the team on WhatsApp which one and at what time.
Contact support"Connection failed": what should I check?
Check that you chose the Xtream Codes login, then check the server URL character by character, and your username and password, with no space before or after. Your account works on one device at a time, so stop playback on the other device before you try again.
IPTV setup guideI use a VPN app: which playlist should I pick?
In the Lux IPTV app (Fire TV Stick, Android TV and Android boxes), pick the "Lux IPTV – VPN" playlist if a VPN app is running on your device. No VPN comes with the subscription: this setting is only for a VPN app you already use.
IPTV setup guideLux IPTV: renewing your IPTV subscription
How do I extend my Lux IPTV subscription?
Renewals go through WhatsApp: send the team your username and the plan length you want, and they'll tell you how to pay. Renewing before your plan ends keeps your access uninterrupted.
RenewalHow much does renewal cost?
The plan lengths and prices are the ones on the pricing page: 1 month ($8.99), 3 months ($19.99), 6 months ($34.99), 12 months ($59.99) or 24 months ($99.99). No renewal discount is advertised.
See pricingCan I switch plan length when I renew?
Yes: you choose the length each time you renew (1, 3, 6, 12 or 24 months). Moving from 1 month to a longer plan lowers the price per month, down to $4.17 on 24 months.

How do I reach Lux IPTV support?
Through WhatsApp only: the free trial, orders, payment, setup, renewals and refunds all go through the same chat. There's no e-mail address, live chat or phone line.
Contact usCan support help me install the app?
Yes. Tell the team your device model and the step where you're stuck, with a screenshot if you can. When your device needs one, the team gives you the current Downloader code or download link, and walks you through to your first channel.
Message supportCan I watch on two screens at the same time?
No. You can install your account on several devices, but it works on one at a time. So you can have it on the living-room TV and on your phone, but not watch on both at the same moment.
Set up several devicesIs Lux IPTV family friendly?
Every plan is listed as "Family friendly", with the same content in all five lengths: live channels, movies, series and the TV Guide (EPG). Since the account works on one screen at a time, the household watches on one device at a time.
