Lux IPTV setup guide: how to install IPTV on every device
Pick your device and follow the steps with the login details you receive after payment confirmation. Stuck on a step? The team helps you on WhatsApp.
Lux IPTV: what you need for your IPTV setup
To set up Lux IPTV, you need four things and no technician. Once you've ordered your Lux IPTV subscription, have these ready:
- Your Lux IPTV login details: your username, your password, and the server URL, sent after payment confirmation (a MAG box uses a portal URL instead)
- A compatible device: Smart TVs (Samsung, LG, Sony and more), Android TV and Android boxes, Amazon Fire TV Stick, Google Chromecast, iPhone and Apple TV, Android phones and tablets, Windows PCs and Macs, or MAG boxes and STB Emulator
- An internet connection: Lux IPTV recommends at least 30 Mbps for HD and 4K; on a TV, an Ethernet cable is more stable than Wi-Fi
- An IPTV app: the one our guide lists for your device (see below), or any IPTV player you like
How does IPTV work?
IPTV delivers TV over your internet connection, with no satellite dish and no cable box. The ITU, the United Nations agency for telecommunications, puts it this way: “IPTV is defined as multimedia services such as television/video/audio/text/graphics/data delivered over IP-based networks”. Lux IPTV provides the channels, movies and series; your IPTV app plays them.

The app signs in with Xtream Codes, using your username, your password, and the server URL; a MAG box uses a portal URL. You enter them once, and the app loads everything.

Install safely: Lux IPTV tips
- Install apps from your device's official store (Microsoft Store, App Store, Google Play) or with the code and link the team gives you on WhatsApp, never from an unknown website.
- If your device asks you to let an app install other apps, give that permission to Downloader only.
- Your account can be installed on several devices, but it works on one at a time.
- Never post your password or the server URL in a public message or a screenshot.
- No app comes with content of its own: the channels, movies and series come from your Lux IPTV subscription.
Lux IPTV on a smart TV: Samsung, LG, Sony and Chromecast
On a Samsung, LG, Sony or other smart TV, and with Google Chromecast, the app to install depends on your model.
Message the team on WhatsApp with your TV's brand and model: they'll tell you which app to install, and you then sign in with your username, your password, and the server URL.

Lux IPTV: common IPTV setup problems and fixes
The six most common cases. Still stuck? Message the team on WhatsApp.
The picture stutters or freezes
Run a speed test on the device: Lux IPTV recommends at least 30 Mbps for HD and 4K. Use an Ethernet cable rather than Wi-Fi, especially on a TV, and pick a lower quality (SD, HD, or Full HD) if your connection is borderline.
Your login details are rejected
Most often, a space slipped in before or after a field during copy and paste. Type the username, password and server URL again by hand.
The channel list stays empty
The first load can take a moment. Refresh the playlist in the app; as a last resort, delete the profile and sign in again. If the TV Guide (EPG) is missing, turn it on in the app's settings.
You use a VPN app
In the Lux IPTV app, on Fire TV Stick or Android TV, pick the “Lux IPTV – VPN” playlist.
It worked, then stopped
Restart the device and your router. If the problem continues, message the team on WhatsApp with your device and app.

You can install your account on several devices, but it works on one at a time.
